10-bit ADC module for 12-bit resolution

Most PIC ADC is 10-bit, but I need a 12-bit ADC module. Yes, pic16c77x has 12-bit ADC, but its fuction is far away from my request.
As I know, MCHP has a app note about how to use a 10-bit ADC PIC reach the 12-bit resolution. However I cannot find it from the microchip web site. So anybody has this kind of experience? Please give me some advice. Thanks a lot.
