1st Major Milestone Achieved on time! Microchip's stack for the ZigBee protocol v2.0 is now available on Microchip's web site at www.microchip.com/zigbee. One major "unplanned" enhancement to the stack is the support for the only defined ZigBee profile - Home Lighting Control.
Some of the key features of the new stack include: - Based on the ZigBee specification v1.0 - Automatic support for MPLAB C18 compiler - Portable across all PIC18F microcontrollers - Supports a non-slotted star network topology - Implements Reduced Function Device (RFD) and Coordinator nodes
